Set Call Transfer (Forwarding) Number

Configure where calls should be transferred when the AI receptionist needs to hand off a caller to a human.


2. Open Phone Settings

At the top of the page, click the Phone tab.

3. Enter Transfer Number

Scroll to the Transfer Number section and enter the phone number where calls should be forwarded.

This number can be:

  • A front desk or main office line
  • A call center or answering service
  • A mobile phone for emergency coverage

Important: Avoid Loops

The transfer number cannot be the office number where calls are forwarded from. This creates an infinite loop where calls are forwarded back to us repeatedly.
