How to Record on Web
Learn how to record patient consults directly from your computer using the Operaitor web portal.
Microphone Setup
Before you begin, ensure your computer has a working microphone and that your browser has permission to access it.
Check Browser Permissions
- When you first try to record, your browser will ask for permission.
- Click Allow to grant microphone access.
- If you denied permission previously, click the lock icon in your browser address bar to reset permissions.
How to Record
1. Navigate to Record
Go to the Scribe section or the dashboard where the recording interface is located.
2. Select Microphone
Select This Device or your specific microphone from the "Recording From" dropdown.
3. Start Recording
Click the Start Recording button. You should see a timer and audio visualizer indicating that audio is being captured.
4. Stop and Process
When finished, click Stop Recording. The audio will be processed, and your notes will be generated automatically.
Troubleshooting
- No audio detected: Check your system sound settings to ensure your input volume is up.
- Browser blocks access: Refresh the page and try again, or check your browser's site settings.
- Quality issues: Use an external USB microphone for better clarity compared to built-in laptop microphones.
